Awesome Gluten Free Chicken Liver Pate
Buy the best, organic, free range livers you can find. I found some organic ones at Whole Foods.
I made six livers, you could do more or less depending on how much you want.
Put the livers in a baking dish. Add unrefined coconut oil for flavor. Crumble oil on top and around the sides of the raw livers. Add a little Himalayan salt, black pepper, 1/2 lime juice, some dried cilantro, and finely chopped red onion.
Bake at a low temperature for health reasons, 250 degrees for 30 minutes (pre-heat your oven first). After the livers are done, use a garlic press and press a garlic clove on top and mash into the livers. Use a fork and mash the livers into a pate, really easy! Now you have a wonderful, healthy pate. Keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
I like to spread the pate on a toasted brown rice tortilla, Yum!!!
